Fine tuning by racing geometry
Radically trimmed to speed, the geometry of the Wild Edge takes no compromises. The extension of the top tube and the chain stays permits best control and maximum speeds on the downhill slope, combined with ultimate climbing power.
Pure thrust with special kinematics
The kinematics developed specifically for the Wild Edge based on a supported single jointed design ensures best traction and extremely calm running even with the dampener open and extreme chain pull. The result is pure thrust.
press-fit bearing is pressed into the bottom bracket shell and not screwed, as
would be usual. The resulting force-lock fastens the bearing in the housing.
The press-fit inner bearing increases stiffness of the crank/inner bearing
combination, increasing the bearing's service life at a lower weight.
Semi-integrated headsets with an inner diameter of 1 1/8 inch on top and 1.5 inch
at the bottom ensure best riding stability and excellent control head
stiffness. The stiffness of the fork profits from the more voluminous shaft,
and the forces are discharged into the frame better and with less strain on the
material through the higher-volume control tube.
As compared to other materials, Carbon has a weight-specifically higher strength. At the
same time, the carbon-fibre-reinforced high-end plastic can be adjusted perfectly to
requirements and construction with the help of various fibre types and their alignment.

stiffer frames and a flatter saddle tube. A flatter saddle tube greatly
increases rider comfort.

cable jacket. Longer service life and function of the gear are thus ensured.
A 12mm through axle achieves not only very good stiffness values, but also offers easy operation and reliability. This is reflected specifically in the removal and installation of wheels with disc brakes, which is just as easy as it is precise.
